MyVMS Demo Version
Download and install the MyVMS Demo Version to start testing.
Full MyVMS Experience
MyVMS Demo is a fully functional version of MyVMS that you can use for testing, evaluation, demonstration, or as a working system when server-side archive recording is not required.
You can connect up to 16 cameras and use the core MyVMS functionality, including live video, PTZ control, remote access, events and reactions, AI video analytics, and camera retransmission.
The main difference from the commercial version is simple: server-side archive recording is disabled.
Local recording from the MyVMS client is still available, allowing video to be manually recorded to a local folder when needed.
Test MyVMS Before Purchasing
Use the Demo Version to build a real installation and evaluate MyVMS with your own cameras, network, and infrastructure before purchasing a commercial license.
Connect your cameras, verify compatibility and video quality, configure PTZ, test events and reactions, evaluate AI analytics, and check remote connectivity under real operating conditions.
AI Features Included
MyVMS Demo provides access to MyVMS AI video analytics features, including:
- Face Recognition
- Fire and Smoke Detection
- Object Detection
- AI Search
- ANPR — Automatic Number Plate Recognition
This allows you to evaluate MyVMS AI functionality using your own cameras and real-world scenarios before deciding whether you need a commercial MyVMS installation.
Remote Access and Camera Retransmission
MyVMS Demo includes TURN + DynDNS, allowing you to work with cameras located behind NAT even when direct incoming connections are not available.
The Demo Version can therefore also be used to provide remote access to cameras, retransmit camera streams between locations, or broadcast your cameras.
Events and Reactions
The Demo Version includes the MyVMS event and reaction system.
You can configure events and define automatic reactions, allowing you to test and use automation scenarios and integration logic just as you would in a regular MyVMS installation.
When Is the Demo Version Enough?
You are free to use the MyVMS Demo Version as a working system if its limitations meet your requirements.
The Demo Version supports up to 16 camera channels and does not provide server-side archive recording.
If you need live monitoring, AI analytics, remote camera access, camera retransmission, events and reactions, or simply want to evaluate MyVMS before purchasing, the Demo Version may be all you need.
If your installation requires continuous server-side archive recording or more than 16 camera channels, you will need a commercial MyVMS license.
