Motion Analytics combines real-time motion detection settings with post-event archive analysis. Motion Detector parameters such as minimum object size, inclusion level and sensitivity directly affect when the detector is triggered and can therefore be used for real-time reactions and automation. Additional motion data, including detection region and direction of movement, can also be stored and later used to filter recorded video in the archive. This provides a single motion detection mechanism for both online event handling and post-event search, while running on the CPU with low system resource requirements.
