Supported Cameras
MyVMS supports thousands of IP cameras, video encoders, NVRs and XVRs from manufacturers worldwide.
Thanks to extensive ONVIF support, most modern surveillance devices can be connected to MyVMS without additional integration or development.
ONVIF First
ONVIF has become the industry standard for video surveillance interoperability. Most modern IP cameras support ONVIF and can be discovered and connected automatically by MyVMS.
In most cases, ONVIF provides access to video streams, audio streams, PTZ control, events and device configuration functions.
RTSP Support
Even if a device does not support ONVIF, integration is often still possible.
If a camera can provide a standard RTSP stream, MyVMS can usually receive and display video from that device.
This approach allows integration with many specialized cameras, video encoders and third-party devices that do not implement the full ONVIF specification.
Not Sure If Your Camera Is Supported?
Download the MyVMS Demo Version and try connecting your device.
In most cases, a successful ONVIF discovery or a working RTSP stream is sufficient to start using the camera with MyVMS.
Continuous Compatibility Improvements
MyVMS continuously expands compatibility with new devices and firmware versions.
We actively cooperate with camera manufacturers, OEM partners and technology providers to improve interoperability and ensure seamless integration with MyVMS products.
For manufacturers, compatibility can often be implemented directly during firmware development or firmware customization, allowing devices to work with MyVMS from the first deployment.
